Rotating your grayscale image after scanning it.

We're beginning here with an image that we've scanned in from a black and white negative. As you can see it's a horizontal/landscape image that is turned on it's side, so we'll need to adjust that by rotating it properly.
To rotate this image, go to the top panel of Photoshop and locate Image. Then scroll down to Rotate Canvas and in this case we're going to rotate it 90 CCW. Which stands for 90 degrees Counter Clockwise.
You are then left with the resulting image properly rotated as it should be.
