Full Screen Mode

First thing to look for while in the Camera RAW dialog is the Toggle full screen mode (or short cut key combination F) in the upper right hand corner. This allows you to toggle between full screen, or not full screen where Photoshop's upper menu will show.

Camera RAW Interface

Here is the full Camera RAW interface. Scroll your mouse to the top left and hover over the Magnifying glass to see it's description.

Camera RAW Tools

While hovering over each tool, a yellow pop up will appear and give you the description of that tool. The first one for instance is the Zoom Tool (Z), or as it appears in the icon, a magnifying glass. Browse through each and check them out. They will be discussed in more depth in the following tutorials.

Zoom and Camera Info

Towards the bottom of the RAW interface you will see the Zoom strength. You can use the hot keys of Apple/Command and + or Apple/Command and - to zoom in and out aswell. Further to the right of the Zoom you can also see what camera you shot with and the RAW file type that you shot with. In this example, the camera used was a Nikon D70 set to .NEF file type.

Histogram, Meta Data & Basic

Towards the right of the interface you have a few things to look at. At the very top you will find the histogram for Camera RAW. Next is some meta data information and following that at the middle on to the bottom is the Basic screen.

Opening and Saving

At the very bottom of the RAW interface you will find the Open Image, Cancel, Done and Save Image.. buttons. Open Image will bring the image directly into Photoshop. Cancel will cancel any edits made. Done will apply any changes made and the Save Image button will do just that and allow you to save the image.
